A New York Times article by Steve Smith (in yesterday’s Arts section) featured my photo of Gabriel Kahane.

We shot the photo at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

She leans - both in and back - so perfectly. He has posture like the tree in the reflection, right where his spine would be. Out of the corner of my eye, when I passed, I thought they were real. I like that he is wearing socks. Mannequins don’t usually do that.
